So with my new shaved head, I thought it might be cool to straighten my hair, although I haven’t in forever. HOWEVER, it’s September, so this was kind of stupid on my part. Because the humidity is disgusting outside. Last night I used my satin foam rollers to curl the top of my hair, I refrained from using heat! In the morning, my hair was $$–a little curly to the point of almost looking prommy, but I knew they’d calm down a little as the day went on. Note: I wanted it to CALM DOWN. I walked outside into the “steamy” and “muggy” environment and could instantly feel the moisture seeping into my hair. It’s so gross when this happens, because my hair will actually start to feel moist and damp. Like, it soaks up moisture that much. Nastified.
I even put gel in it to try to tame the frizz–I think it made it worse. WildChild is annoyed. Can anyone think of stuff to decrease frizz (after the fact)? I’ve tried pomades, serums, sprays, hairspray, etc and nothing works. This is stupid.
Look, I’ll even prove it to you. I rarely post ugly pictures of myself, but whatever.
