Hi Elle! Yet this is how I felt when I firt used the KCSS. It did absolutely nothing for my second day curls. I think it must help and does better on more wavy type of hair. I think it did specify on the botter for wavy types but can be applied for thick coarse hair. It is like a gel refresher instead of an instant spray. I still have mines but I doubt will reuse. I know I don’t like spending $ to try only once and never again. I happen to like the smell personally. I did my recent blog on KCC products. It smells woodsy to me. Well I cannot wait to hear your reveiw on the Ojin products. Is Ojin or Oyin?
What do you think about Miss Jessie’s products coming to Target as well as the Curls line?
Hey, thank you! She got me Oyin stuff, I have tried Ojon and I think their stuff is crazy overpriced w/ the same ingreds as Miss Jessie’s. The Oyin Whipped Pudding and Honey Hemp condish both have glycerin, which makes me weary, but I LOVE the Burnt Sugar Pomade and mine is pretty much gone. I can’t wait to try them. 🙂

Secondly— I got that stuff in a swap last week and I too was expecting it to be a spray-spray, so I just shot the stuff straight in my hair. That whole jet stream-spray ish left me looking like Slimer just came by to say hey or something. Not cute.
I agree. I didn’t do anything bad, but it didn’t do anything great. I don’t like these middle of the road products, they either have to be terrible so I know that I never want to be tempted by them again or they have to rock so I can keep em in the arsenal.
Did WF let you return it? Do you ever use swap boards??? I KNOW you have a lot of stuff you could put on there, but most importantly SAMPLE from there….
Thanks! 🙂 I’m going to try to take it back today. I never put anything on the swap boards b/c I am well…lazy; I just gave my Curls Souffle to my friend and the last bit of my Goddess Glaze. She took care of my dog for a week, lo, so I hope she likes it! And I almost never buy samples…I usually end up using what I don’t like on days I’m not going out (like that horrid white camellia condish) or use it as foot lotion. I love having buttery feet and natural moisturizers are better than ANY lotion I’ve tried, lol!
