hey, i absolutely LOVE this gel. does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about getting 2nd or third day hair out of it. I have a TWA and don’t want these wonderful clumpy curls to go all frizzy on me. should i wet it or apply some LI to my hair or just some oil? Or more of the product? HELP please..
Lately, all my favourite hair products have discontinued one after the other (story of my life). After a couple of months of unsuccessful experimentation and getting stuck in never-ending bad-hair-do limbo, I stumbled upon this review and immediately ordered a bottle. And I LUUUV IT! I see u(like myself) likes to change your hair color alot…..I found out that after you henna….if you put a semi or permanent color over it will turn your hair jet black or green and can only be removed by bleaching.
Not that I have a prob bleaching but it was hell tryna figure out how to remove the auburn.
After my hair turned black I then researched on mehandi.com and saw where it said dyeing over henna will change ur hair to black or green:( Mine was JET BLCK!
So just a little fyi.
Thanks for the tip – I wouldn’t want green hair! I didn’t use henna to dye Izzy (I actually sort of hate the color), but I feel the conditioning benefits of henna have been raved about so much I had to try it since I’m growing my hair out and need to retain length. I’m going to switch with amla treatments to try to darken her more…last night I randomly straightened a piece, and with the red I looked like a fox! It was not the way! At least curly hair is more forgiving with color, lol.
