A great way to test porosity is to place a strand of your hair in a cup of water and leave it for a bit…if it sinks, you have high porosity; if it stays at the top, low porosity; and if it sinks only a little, normal porosity. Hope that helps! 🙂

I don’t really focus on hair type – I’ve found that it’s better to look for products based on the porosity and texture of your hair. Honestly, it’s all a little confusing and subjective to me, but if I had to pick ummm….I’d say it’s a 3c/4a mix?

kccc totally won the battle for me between kccc and cj aloe fix. i could not use the cj aloe with the cj cccc either. My hair just went limp. Now I love some cj cccc with kccc. I actually use cj cccc as my leave-in/moisturizer. My hair loves that stuff.
You know what…I am loving my KCCC today and was gonna do a vid…but I’ll mix it with the CCCC tomorrow! Thanks!

I was curious to know if you have tried the gel by Koils by Nature? I think you did a review but I can’t remember. I was considring ttying the curl junkie gel then I noticed the ingriedents were kinda similar, not totally though. Just wondering how they copmare. Your hair came out great.
I did a review on the KBN gel; it’s a lot different from the Curl Junkie. It’s MUCH thinner and I had to use a lot of it to minimize frizz, but then my hair was sorta crunchy. It worked best when I put it on top of another gel.
