Ehhh…that’s kind of how I already do my hair, except rather than shaking out each piece I just shake my whole head when I’m done. I’ll probably try it when my hair is longer though. But, I also don’t diffuse my hair.

I’m going to try the Jessicurl WDT as a leave-in next, so we’ll see if I like it a little better. I don’t think it’s bad but I really don’t like condishes so thick they build up in my hair. And yes! The Dew is absolutely like Pink Lotion, and it’s water based so it’s more moisturizing than a lot of other lotions. I really like it so far, I was also going to use it to seal since it has castor an olive oil.

Nope, the lighting isn’t very good on my webcam so when I record with that one she looks darker. I don’t plan on dyeing my hair again, especially with the henna on my hair – I have heard it’s not recommended to use chemical dye over henna. And I wouldn’t want to ruin my hair!

I was wondering do you remember what time you ordered your oyin goodies? I waited for the hair dew to show up so I didn’t order when the sale started on black friday, I got sidetracked and I wound up ordering at about 11 am PST. Did you place your order early in the morning? I am in CA so I am trying to figure out when my order will come, I am getting excited to try my first order after seeing your haul video!
Hey Ash! I ordered mine pretty early…like, as soon as they said the Hair Dew was up. I think it was around 9:15pm PST (on Thursday) or so? No later than 9:30pm PST. I was sitting and waiting!!

i got some Darcy’s on Black Friday too. i got the Madagascar Vanilla Styling Creme, which works great as a sealant. i also got the Peach Kernel Hydrating Milk. it’s so-so, but it smells wonderful. i picked up the Donna Marie Curl Creme. you weren’t lying about the cake smell 😉 i like it so far, but i’m kinda disappointed that it doesn’t work too well on dry hair.

I concur, I like the MVSC for sealing but the Peach Milk was nothing more than a yummy smell for me. And you live down the street from Oyin??!?! I WISH! Their bottling parties make me want to move back to MD…

I hated the weekly deep conditioner by jessicurl…frizz & dry city for my hair. And dry city for my daughters hair totally different hair type. Hope you have better results. thanks for sharing your haul 🙂 take care.
Your hair looks lovely, Elle. It looks like a coily curl afro and look really thick. You should post close ups if you have any pictures of the Jessicurl hair. I like cocoa and coconut scents but does it smell more like commercial like scent? I cannot wait to see you pineapple after using the Hair Dew from Oyin. The thought of sugary cookie smell had my mind and mouth salivating. LOL I think I will have to order myself some eventually. I am actually creating a Christmas wishlist for some stuff. How would you rate Jessicurl from 0 to 5, 0 being not a good moisturizing product to 5 very moisturizing product? You know I was checking out the John Masters’ line at Erehwon on Friday. Heck yeah expensive. Did not care for his scents unless it was tea tree or peppermint.
That huge bottle of hemp conditioner looks like a wine bottle of conditioner!! I am waiting for my OYIN. Hurry up OYIN. I love Fruity Pebbles and Skittles, YUM!! MY CJ is on its way. Marsha is fantastic. I love sweet smells, and who could say no to smell of cake? LOL 😉 I am waiting for your product review of the Oyin Hair Dew though. What eye shadow and lip gloss are you wearing? I’m not sure how I would rate the Jessicurl…I need to try it a few more times before I review it, and I want to do a vs. review with the Curl Rehab. The scent is really like coconut oil and cocoa butter – it’s not overwhelming at all, I’m just like, meh, about it, lol. My eyeshadow is a mix of a bronze I got from VS along with my Stila Colorwheel in an indigo, and the lip gloss is the Cupcake Strawberry lip gloss from Bath and Body Works. It tastes yummy! And thanks about CN!
