I wasn’t a fan of the D.B.C.C.G. when I first used it but now I love it! I’m able to achieve a multiple day wng. I don’t use D.B. Leave in but I do use coconut oil and the Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Restorative Conditioner (with the pump) in sections, detangle and then add the gel, i also follow up at night doing the Naptural85 misting/bagging method to keep my hair moisturized for the next day

It did & I also found your November video. Do you still apply products in sections? I don’t and w/ thick hair find that the product really doesn’t get distributed well. Plus I’ve been using the denman out of the shower to detangle and I find that my roots get too straightened and fuzzy. Ugh!

I usually only do two-four sections. I rarely do eight because I am lazy. I also do not like denmans for detangling. I use a paddle bush.

Your hair looks great in this video! You said you might not purchase because you like other products better….what are those?

I know you showed your routine a while back but now that your hair is longer I wonder what you do? I’ve been twisting lately but I want to go back to wash n’ go’s. Thanks…love your blog!

Thanks! My list of products is still the same – I just updated my holy grail list on the blog this month. I still mostly do wash n gos, but have been doing some experimenting with twist and braid outs. I also have my 2011 regimen that I posted this month. Hope that helps!

I visited the Darcy’s Botanicals website. The recommendation for using the Curling Cream Gel is to use it in combination with the Curl Styling (Leave-In) Cream. I noticed that you also reviewed the latter product in December. I am wondering if you followed this recommendation?
