  1. I bought a jar of CD Mimosa Hair Honey last week from Sephora while on a road trip. When I got home I realized that the ingredients on the jar were different from the ingredients that were posted on the website. Beeswax was listed as the second ingredient on the jar that I bought, but listed as ~9th ingredient on the website. When I called Sephora they directed me to CD (yesterday) who said that they did this for legal reasons but to ignore the jar and go by the list that is posted on the website. Does this make sense to you?

  2. lol Elle I swaer your like the only person I trust when it comes to advice and stuff because people be lying like this girl was like your hair looks great and I’m saying to myself um no my hair is dry and ashy today O_o . oh and can you email me who your talking about please because I don’t want to support them.

  3. hey Elle, just wanted to let you know i tried to wash and go at night with pineappling and it semi-worked. the curls in the back were really streched, almost straight, which sucked, and the front kinda wasn’t… it looked like a mullet. maybe the banding will have the same effect, but i didn’t like my curls stretched out that much.

    DC stand up!!

  4. Hey girl !!

I love your blog lol . I just wanted to say a far is companies
lying – don’t piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining. That’s just how I feel about it. Please keep bloging and keep telling the truth.

  5. Wow Elle! I love you for this! Great cautionary tale to all the various small start-ups about proper marketing. I appreciate that you didn’t give the name of the brand in question. Perhaps for them it is a teachable moment, and for those of us who don’t know which company you are talking about we can go on unbiased if we love the product.

I am not mad about the 20 minutes, and your twist out looks great. Thank you for the vid.
