I bought a jar of CD Mimosa Hair Honey last week from Sephora while on a road trip. When I got home I realized that the ingredients on the jar were different from the ingredients that were posted on the website. Beeswax was listed as the second ingredient on the jar that I bought, but listed as ~9th ingredient on the website. When I called Sephora they directed me to CD (yesterday) who said that they did this for legal reasons but to ignore the jar and go by the list that is posted on the website. Does this make sense to you?
Nope, doesn’t make sense. All the product labels I have on my CD stuff match the site.

hey Elle, just wanted to let you know i tried to wash and go at night with pineappling and it semi-worked. the curls in the back were really streched, almost straight, which sucked, and the front kinda wasn’t… it looked like a mullet. maybe the banding will have the same effect, but i didn’t like my curls stretched out that much.
DC stand up!!

Wow Elle! I love you for this! Great cautionary tale to all the various small start-ups about proper marketing. I appreciate that you didn’t give the name of the brand in question. Perhaps for them it is a teachable moment, and for those of us who don’t know which company you are talking about we can go on unbiased if we love the product.
I am not mad about the 20 minutes, and your twist out looks great. Thank you for the vid.
