The first time I used it, I think curl frizz was “operator error”- I finger-combed the mousse through my hair when I normally scrunch. The result was more strands and frizz than normal.
Today i used for the second time, and my hair is more curly immediately, and scrunching the mousse in made my hair behave like normal.
Curls also start forming higher up on the crown of my head.

I got to try this conditioner by accident. I ordered the Argan and Olive version from Aveyou and they sent me the Strenghtening version by accident. They let me keep it for free! Very classy. It was the first CJ conditioner I tried, and I am impressed. My hair is fine, color treatment and extremely dense, and did wonders for my frizzies. I agree with you about the smell; it’s yucky but forgivable.
I’ve been reading for a few months now. I find your posts imformative and quite entertaining. I like your perspective, not at all preachy(thou shall not wash and go!), and bandwagony (thou shall use eco styler olive oil gel!). Anyway, thanks for taking the time to share Izzy. She is inspiring.
That’s so great, I’m really happy you’ve been liking the blog!! I do bandwagon sometimes as a result of my boards, lol, but I usually keep it to myself in case it doesn’t work out – I don’t want everyone doing it! And yes, this is a really nice shot of protein, not too overpowering.
The CJ Beauticurls Strengthening is one of my favorite conditioners. The slip is crazy and my hair always loves it. I have been rotating between the Strengthening and Argan Oil one with co-washes. It really is my favorite, I am just scared to use daily because of the protein.
Yea I really like it! I might just stick with my Knotty Girl and GPB though since I can get both of them on the ground.
