Thanks for the video. Like Tera, I never heard of DC. After I watched your demostration I decided to try it.
It better than I thought and it was nice not having to stay in the shower so long to wet my hair. It was easy to detangle too.
I will be doing this in the future. Thanks for sharing the tip!

I actually tried dry deep conditioning last night. After watching youre video I thought, why not? I was definitely skeptical about it but it worked! It was better than regular deep conditioning. Detangling was a breeze & my hair was so SOFT!!! I will do it again.

Ok Elle… I tried it. I think I had too much product residue in my hair because right in the front… where I use the most product… i had the dreaded “white hair.” But my hair felt much better and although I just smoothed it over my hair in sections as shown in your video in sections, the shower water just detangled my hair on its own… no comb required. I used Organix Coconut Intensive Reconstructive Treatment as my deep conditioner. It’s awesome.

Hmm. I might rock with dry DCing again. All of the in and out of the shower is annoying. And since I cleanse with Bentonite clay now, I don’t use as much product. So I could keep my wash day routine but throw in a dry DC a couple of days later. Thanks for the vid, Elle!

I usually do this type of DC after wearing a protective style using a rinse out conditioner like Suave or Herbal Essence and leave it in about 2 -3 hours. It works great and leaves my hair very soft. I don’t like to DC to often because I hate getting in and out of the shower – just too much time.
Thanks Elle for all your wonderful videos. Since I have been natural, you have been such an inspiration!

I don’t DC alot because of the hopping in and out of the shower. So this dry method may really work for me. Thanks for the tip because I never considered DCing on dry but why not right?
