Actually, before I picked which ones I wanted I checked to see how long your hair should be, and the long and extra wide ones say – Ideal for use on Medium to Long Hair up to 16″ (40cms) long. The short ones say they are for hair up to nine inches, and my hair is longer than that. The long and wide ones (not extra wide) are for hair up to 14″, but I do not like tighter spiral curls. If anything, I should have done smaller pieces because even if the curlers were extra wide, I had quite a few pieces that I had to STUFF into the Curlformer.
I did my research before picking my kit, trust me! Thanks for the comment.

Hi! I love Curlformers and I can see that you need to take much smaller sections of hair for each Curlformer! It is really worth it as it is so much better for your hair. I tend to separate my curls out then put some wax to add texture. Try again as they are great!

Your hair is awesome (it actually looks just like mine). I am a wash and go girl. People keep trying to get me to try new things, but I don’t have the patience, talent, or desire for other hair styles. I say go with what works.

your hair as you do it on a daily basis is totally beautiful and awesome!!! i say retire the curlformers. actually seeing your hair in this way makes me realize that set styles sometimes just aren’t as fly as a well done wash and go (which i’ve yet to master). anyway, thanks for showing your results!
Thank you Stacy!!! I feel the same way! I understand that people want me to try again, but why? I can just do a wash n go – I’m generally lazy with my hair so unless I love a style, I’m not going to try again and again to get it right. That’s one of the reasons I cut all my hair off when I was transitioning – I tried to do a roller set and my hair wouldn’t dry, so I made my haircut appointment that same day. I do not play…lol.
I think you should have gone with the smaller curlformers…the wider ones are for longer hair.

awww…I think maybe you needed more curlers. They would be smaller curls. Lord knows how long that would take. I see potential though!!
