Oh, May 19th, you can’t come soon enough. What’s May 19th, you ask? National Natural Hair Meetup Day! The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity for naturals all over the nation to meet in their respective areas on the same day, as a sign of community and solidarity; while benefiting from cross promotion and access to sponsors. Kind of like those nationally synced World Cup Watching Parties, but with hair. 😉
So far, the following cities are planning events:

- Indianapolis
- Los Angeles
- Nashville
- Philadelphia
- San Diego
- Greenville, SC
- Greenville, NC
- Virginia Beach/Hampton
More cities will be added, so stay updated on the Facebook page and see if an event will be held in your area. Of course, I will be in LA with the lovely MakeupVixen. I have heard tidbits about some special happenings in the works, so you won’t want to miss this one.
