I Did it! Part II

For the past two years, I’ve hit one of my “hair milestones” just around this time. Last year, I finally made a high ponytail with my natural hair. Well, this year, I made my fishtail braid!!! I love fishtail braids, but in order to get them to look good, you need to have a pretty good amount of hair. Now…this is not my “final” braid – I made this one sloppily last night before I went to sleep…I need to practice some more and use smaller pieces of hair to make it look more scaly, but I made one! This obviously calls for sprinkles and fairy dust.

Oh wait! I did another one! I like this better. πŸ™‚

Ooooooooo! Pretty! Since I’m a lover of braidouts, I couldn’t help but wonder what a “fishtail braidout” would look like! *things that make you go hmmmm* Anyway, I’m a dense but fine haired curly…the only way I can imagine a fishtail braid looking great on me is on blown out hair; so that I could have the illusion of having a thick one. Great 1st try! πŸ™‚

Congrats! I felt the same way when I did my fishtail braid too. Though I’ve since cut my hair and can’t do it anymore 😦

Thanks for the fishtail tutorial Elle! I’ve always wanted to do one. Unfortunately, it’ll be a while before I’m able to do a braid again (since cutting my hair), but I’m def going to favorite on YouTube for when that day comes!

How cute is that? Looks shiny and moist! Congrats on your milestone.
You’re gonna have lots of hair envy with that look!
