HerbNLife ButterFly
B.A.S.K. Palm Tapioca Deluxe Hair Cream (also a moisturizer)

Carol’s Daughter Hair Elixir
Carol’s Daughter Hair Balm
Jojoba Oil
Rice Bran Oil
Emtage Silktage Serum (Mainly used for blowing out/straightening)
Benefits of Sealing Hair include:
– Moisture retention
– Protecting your hair from the elements
– Decreasing friction on your ends
– Decreasing breakage
– Smoothing ends
– Lubricating/softening hair
– Split end prevention
– Single strand knot prevention
Also, remember to moisturize before you seal – oils and pomades (unless it’s water-based like my B.A.S.K.) do not **provide** moisture to your hair, they can only help you hold onto the moisture you already have. That’s why I seal my wet hair, even if I demonstrated on dry hair hair. I will say though, after I put the pomade on my hair…it definitely softened it up a bit and it smelled so good! Yums. 🙂
Just wanted to say I finally took my braids out after 2.5 years and everyone loves my natural look!! Your videos have been truly helpful in caring for my hair. Thanks so much for taking the time to share your knowledge and experiences!! You are truly helping to make this journey easier for all women who rock natural curls. God Bless 🙂
Love your blog. Did my bc in January 2012 after watching your reviews and comments on being natural; watched some of your early blogs and gained confidence from your journey. Love your styles, and use products in your HG. Best to you in the future.
Hey Elle,
Do you seal before of after applying gel? Love your videos by the way and thanks for helping me figure out my curls
After – I go over that in the vid!
