Thank you for the tip about the FOTE Aloe Vera Gel and Shea Moisture Leave in. It has really made a difference in my curls. Now, I love my curls! I use to use Knot Today with Kiss My Face Upper Management, but I love the Aloe Vera Gel so much more! I will still keep a stash of the KMF, but the Aloe Vera gel is now my staple.

BTW, I just searched the net and found Kiss My Face Upper Management Styling Gel on sale at AllStarHealth for $4.89.

I love this series. Thanks for the info on where to buy Kiss My Face! Recently, I have had luck creating a great twist out with the Beautiful Textures line at Sally’s. I use a combination of the Curl Control Defining Pudding with the Moisture Butter.

Random rant: Royally piffed that almost no “natural hair” care products (outside of the ones at Whole Foods) are readily available in Miami/South Florida…I’ve gotta order most things on-line from Hairrogant or Sage Naturaceuticals b’cuz they are in Atlanta (and that’s the closest thing to instant grat that I’m going to get 😦 )…but the shipping-ooo, lawdy that shipping is a bizn*ch ::WAAAAAAA::

Thanks for co-signing on the “awfulness” of that Organicles Follicle Stimulating conditioner, I thought it was just me!! Please keep the blog updated with feedback, I had to “unplug” from facebook, so I can spend more time in the real world, but I check you blog daily!! So I missed what you must have said about it on there. Thanks again for the review on the gels ( although I’m sticking with uncle funky’s curly magic, I’ve learned my lesson from trying to be a PJ. Find something that works and stick with it!)

What a great idea for a series! Very helpful for folks that are on a “tight” budget.
