Okay, so I’m soooo confused! I just checked my old video, and the ingredients listed there are very similar to what I have now. However, I’m looking at the old bottle I refer to in this video, and it has the following ingredients:
Distilled water, organic aloe vera juice, organic coconut oil, BTMS, cetearyl alcohol, vitamin E, pathenol, yarrow, sage, horsetail, nettle, lavender, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, lemongrass oil
The new one I have has:
Distilled (Aqua) Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Cetyl Alcohol, Organic Wildflower Honey, Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride (cationic guar gum), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylyglycerin, Fragrance, Astrocaryum Mauritia Flexuosa Fruit (Buriti) Oil
This list is exactly the same as what is on my old video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCms27_y998) with the exception of silk amino acids.
Now! The ingredients list on the site (that I saw when I contacted Lysandra) is:
Distilled (Aqua) Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Glucoside, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Cetyl Alcohol, Organic Wildflower Honey, Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride (cationic guar gum), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Fragrance, Astrocaryum Mauritia Flexuosa Fruit (Buriti) Oil and Silk Amino Acids.
I will contact her to see which one is correct. Please stay tuned and I will tweet/Facebook when I get an answer!
UPDATE FROM LYSANDRA:
The ingredients listed belonged to our Coconut Lemongrass Transitioning
Creme and not the Curling Cream Gel. This was a major typesetting error
that occurred when our labels were re-done.
When I first created the gel, we allowed customer’s to test it out for us
at no charge during our Black Friday sale. Based on customer feedback, the
ingredients were changed slightly to include the following:
*changed preservative from phenoxethanol, ethylhexlyglycerin to
phenoxethanol caprlyl glycol
*increased the emulsifier a bit & extended blending time to prevent
separation
*decreased the fragrance (many wanted it a touch lighter)
*added a touch of silk amino acids
All that being said, here are the pros and cons:
Pros: Nice texture/smell/good slip on naked hair/loosens a harder hold gel/provides pretty good moisture
Cons: Not heavy enough to use alone/Not moisturizing enough to sub as a leave-in
Also, something interesting – while I was editing the video, I left the two strips of product in my kitchen on the black surface. When I went to clean it up, the old version had become runny and dripped onto my counter, while the new bottle stayed put! Muy interesante.
If you have questions regarding **these products** please leave them in the YouTube comments. Thank you for watching!!!
FTC: The old bottle was purchased with my own money, the new bottle was provided to me by DB. xoxo
