Happy New Year to you, Elle!
I know what you mean about not getting your hair cut. I’ve been natural for 2.5 years. I went to a salon in September and the person cut off at least two inches. I couldn’t tell because it was blown out but when I returned to my curls, I was not happy. Then I tried to see the positive side that it had a styles. But I would get Po’d again. I’ve finally made peace with it. It’s hair and it will grow back. lol
My goal for 2015 is continue to keep it simple. I have the time but do not want to spend 4 plus hours on my hair. I leave all products in my hair for the specified length of time. I mainly wear wash and goes but may return to 2 strand twist on the weekends to give my hair and myself a break.
I hadn’t thought to make any for my hair, but I certaiy need a trim and learning a few more updo styles would be great.
1)To henna once a month. Not allowing my hair to get tricolor 2)mix a gel (Flax seed or Aloe Vera juice based natural combination) and use it.
Protective style for the entire winter.
Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize.
My resolutions are:
1. Protective style for the whole year.
2. Steam, ghe or baggy for added moisture
3. Moisturize and seal daily
1)Learn how to do a twistout
2)moisturize,moisturize,moisturize
To get my hair trimmed proffesionally every 3mnths.
I am henna head who has had white and black/brown hair since my early twenties. But as it grows out, because of the work involved I may go months without henna. Which leaves me with tricolor thick bushy long natural hair. Not to mention looking much older. For the new year the goal is once a month henna. And make a gel and use it.
