Well, I did it. After having my hair straight for about three and a half weeks, I HAD to wash it. I thought that bleaching my hair would work better and be a little easier on my straight hair, so I bought a couple of Manic Panic Flash Lightning (with 30 developer) kits and went to town. I did not bleach the top of my hair on purpose – I don’t really like how very light roots look on me, and I also figured that if I ruin my hair, I’ll still have a few inches! Here are the results:
I like it! I’m still getting used to having my hair so light, but I think I did a pretty good job, especially for never having bleached my whole head before. Also, I did get to film some of my bleaching experience, so stay tuned for a video. Last night, I did do a couple of Periscope broadcasts about the bleaching process, so check me out @QFTPC on there.
Products Used:
- Manic Panic Flash Lightning Kit (30 Developer)
- Camille Rose Sweet Ginger Cleansing Rinse (to wash my hair after I rinsed the bleach)
- Curl Junkie Repair Me! (Protein treatment)
- Curl Junkie Curl Rehab (Overnight deep condition)
My other Manic Panic dyes are on the way to me right now, but I think I’m going to play with my blonde hair for a bit before I dye it again. I also ordered Olaplex No. 3, which is a reconstructing treatment used on processed hair. Stay tuned, lovies! xoxo

Hey Elle!
Have you ever tried leaving Curl Junkie Repair Me on overnight?
No, I’ve never used it overnight.
You look good with lighter hair, compliments your skin tone. Great Job.
