It’s that time of year again where our little makeup hearts are filled with joy, but our wallets are taking a beating. The fall season always brings gorgeous new makeup releases for fall and the holiday season, if you want to get a head start. Like I did last year, I’ll be trying my best to buy gifts from black-owned brands and monitor new releases. Here are just four that have me intrigued, and the season hasn’t even started yet.

MLN Beauty Autumn Leaves Eyeshadow Palette: As much as I hate to see summer go, I have to admit that seeing leaves change is one of my favorite parts of fall. The latest palette by MLN Beauty captures that essence perfectly in the versatile fall palette. ($25)

Mented Matte Lipsticks and Liners: Yaaaas, finally! You all know that I absolutely love the shade range Mented has for their lipsticks (every nude works!), so I’m over the moon about them releasing matte versions and lip liners! Ranging from $12-18, these shades will not only be perfect for fall, but will quickly become your nude staples. Stay tuned for more information on this collection and the formula.

Pat McGrath Bronze Seduction Palette: Mother has done it again! It’s hard to pick, but I think this one is my favorite Pat palette to date. I wouldn’t exactly call it fall though – it seems to be perfect for slaying looks this upcoming holiday party season. I can’t believe how glittery some of the shades are, they’re just insane! But then again, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Pat.

NineThreeBeauty Wild Side Pressed Pigment Palette: NineThree highlighters will always be bae, but have you tried their pressed pigments yet? So good! I particularly love this new palette they released, which features three unconventional shades in bright metallics. I would love to see them come out with a full nine or twelve-shade palette as well.
