    Elle,

Have you tried CIAB over the Eco Blue yet. I know that CIAB is your go to final step and I have not seen it mentioned since your started using the Eco Blue…..

I haven’t – I’ve been trying to use less CIAB b/c I need my bottle to last until a CJ Easter sale! I used it with my Spiral Solutions Curl Enhancing Jelly but I didn’t really like it – I think the Eco is way better when you can use it with a leave-in, and I applied the Blue Eco to naked hair that time.

I was looking at your video about refresher sprays the other day. Have you found one without glycerine yet?
Komaza has a great one by the name of Vitamin Reign. If that doesn’t intrest you have you tried aloe juice? It’s sooooo moisturizing plus it stimulates the scalp to encourage hair growth and aids with dandruff. I can personally cosign to the claims of hair growth, the hairs on my nape wouldn’t grow due to scalp damage within a month of using aloe juice daily I have serious growth going on. I couldn’t beleive my eyes, I’ve been trying to get it to grow for months now. I’m so happy and releived that I found something that actually works, and the best part is that it’s natural.

    Enjoy your week.

The Headsprung doesn’t have glycerin. I’ve tried aloe juice but the reason why I stopped using it is because I don’t like putting it in the fridge – my hair seems to hate cold water and when things are in my fridge I often forget to use them. I don’t think it works for me in terms of growth, as I used to use it a lot and it’s in many of my products. I have good growth but it’s still average. Thanks for the tip though – do you mix yours with anything?

      • bugalo says:

I mix it with a couple of different dried herbs that I’ve made into a tea (that I also use as a refresher) as well as a mixture of oils and a little distilled water. I don’t blame you about storing it in the fridge, the coldness is a wake up call.

    Hey Elle!

I’m scared of you and Izzy. Do ya thang chica. Love the earrings and the polish.
My jaw dropped when you held up that jar, I was tickled pink. Glad you found an Eco that Izzy likes. Have you tried making your own gel from Flax seeds? I’d been putting it off for sometime then ran across a fellow curly that got 10 day braid out hair from it and girlfriends hair still looked good on that 10th day! She sold me. I whipped up a batch of my own, having b.c’d in Jan. I’m not looking for 10 day hair (kinda addicted to co washing), but I did achieve 3 day hair with doing nothing more than spritzing with my aloe juice mixture daily and baggying at nite. The results were similar to that of CJ’s CIAB (hypercurly) maybe just a tad tighter curls but very moisturizing. Hand In Hair Syndrome indeed. I couldn’t stop looking in the mirror I was so amazed that I made something that made my curls pop like that. The consistency is very snotty like, but it’s well worth it, plus you can add in all the goodies you like to make it as “healthy” as you like.

    Be Easy!

I loooove Flax Seed Gel. I haven’t made a batch in awhile though, because I hate leaving it in the fridge (forget to use it and it gets moldy) and I started cooking with the pan I used for it…so now it’s all food residuey…eew! I’m glad you like it too, I love homemade hair recipes! 🙂 And thanks for the compliments!

Thanks for the nail polish info. I went right out and got it. Also, good review. I will be trying the gel as well when I run out of the olive oil.

oh wow!!! what i surprise and now i have a sudden need to find and try this!!!!

you and Izzy are fabulous as usual!! and the video was really really cute

question, do u like this better or the same as the aloe vera gel (fruit of the earth)??

    • HB says:

Thanks! That’s a good question…I definitely like them both, but they each have pros and cons…Eco I can’t use in low dew points and have to be weary of the protein, AV gel has a really soft hold so I don’t think multi-day hair is really in the cards with it…dang now I wanna go buy another bottle of AV gel too see how it acts. See what you do to me?

absolutely gorgeous! u’ve inspired me to do a henndigo treatment in the very near future.

ur curls came out great. you might get the same results using curl junkie coffee coco curling creme (i think that’s the name). ur hair is way thicker than mine but my results are very similar. but of course, spending $4 on eco styler is way better than spending $22 with curl junkie, lol

    • HB says:

Thanks! I actually have the CJCCCC and reviewed it, I have a smidge left (like seriously a smidge like for sloppy LI application lol). I like it but it’s not a rebuy because I am not a huge fan of flower smells…I’m not sure I would be able to get multi-day hair with it too, because the hold is super soft.

  7. B says:

Great review and your hair looks amazing 🙂
I’ve also discovered great results from Eco Styler gel. I use the Olive Oil one and can not believe how awesome my twist outs turn out so defined.
I’ll be looking for the one you have once this jar runs out.

  8. sarah says:

your hair looks great! but i’ve been burned by ecostyler too many times to be swayed by your fabulous results 😉

  9. AJ says:

Hahaha Lol Elle I Just bought that last week, haven’t tryed it yet though, waiting for my IC gel to finish but uhh I’m becoming a PJ !!

  10. rosscd says:

Have you tried the la looks sports gel. Its blue too. I just bought it and was really surprised. I wonder if eco blue is similiar.

Your hair looks great. Off to find eco blue

    • HB says:

I haven’t…I had the LA Looks Curls Gel and it made my hair hard! Maybe I’ll check this one out b/c I’ve never looked at the ingreds.

      • Saila says:

The LA Looks typically have keratin amino acids near the top of the list. Of course, I don’t mind at all because my hair is on the fine side. 🙂

Great video! ( as you always deliver :))…I was just curious as to which are the staple products you mention in your video.

Also, I know you like some of curl junkie products. Have you ever tried the curls in a bottle…if so what are your thoughts on it. If you have a video on it , which one? maybe I missed that one.

    Thanks a bunch..take care
